Independence notice

This is an independent interview preparation tool. It is not affiliated with, approved by or endorsed by the University of West London. The questions are realistic practice questions developed from publicly available course information, professional nursing standards and values based recruitment principles. They are not official or confidential UWL interview questions.

How the mock interview will work

A realistic panel format

You will meet three simulated panel perspectives in turn: a university academic, a mental health clinician, and a service user or carer. Each asks values based, motivation based, reflective and scenario based questions.

Spoken, timed practice

The full mock interview is expected to take approximately 2030 minutes. You will answer by speaking, just as you would in a real interview.

Your spoken answers are analysed

With your consent, your spoken responses are recorded, transcribed and analysed so that follow-up questions and feedback can respond to what you actually said.

Personalised, educational feedback

Afterwards you receive a feedback report covering strengths, areas to improve, and safety and professional values judgement. This is developmental feedback, not an admissions decision.

Privacy, in brief

We only collect what is needed to run your mock interview and send you feedback: your preferred name, email address, and your recorded answers. Audio is processed to produce a transcript and feedback, and is deleted afterwards unless you choose to let us keep it temporarily for replay. Read the full privacy notice.
